Remorse

I skipped favorite quote Friday yesterday.
I'm sorry okay?
I was traveling "all day" and I didn't have time!
AND, I'm breaking the rules doubly.
(SHOCKER)
because I'm replacing this quote with a frightening statistic.
What?
It's my blog! And I can do what I want! So LUMP OFF!!!
Here is the scary statistic.
I am taking a Holocaust/Human Rights class right now... which is AMAZING:
probably my favorite class out of ALL the classes I've ever taken!
We were talking about different memorials and museums for the Holocaust
and my teacher told me a statistic that Blew My Mind!
I think it's at the DC museum that they have 15 second videos spotlighting a person who was a victim of the Holocaust.
If you watched a (certain number) of these videos,
night and day,
without stopping,
it would take you SIX AND A HALF YEARS. (Don't forget, these are 15 second videos.)
and here's the scary part...
IT WOULD ONLY BE ABOUT ONE FOURTH of the people brutally murdered during this horrifying time.
That seriously freaks me out. I cannot believe that you could mass murder that many people.
And not only murder, but brutalize. And taunt. And exploit their situation.
IT JUST KILLS ME!
We watched a really amazing movie. Called The PIANIST. It was seriously... I wanted to cry!
Watch it!
