Welcome everybody, to another year in the crap hole.
Forgive me for being a little off kilter today,
I hate school with all the firey burning passion that hades has for holy people.
Maybe it has something to do with being a senior,
Maybe it has to do with the fact that I prefer slumber to waking up early and pounding my mind against learning.
Maybe I just have something against the general teenage population of my school.
But I digress. I can give you a run through of the first day, you know, if you want to hear about it :) You don't?
Well, TOO BAD!
I wake up at the blatantly early hour of 7:30.
I arrive at first hour, only to find out that it's a class that costs $195, (Thanks, counselors. You couldn't notify me of that?) However, the class is worth 3 college credits, so I... don't really forgive them. But still.
We then proceed to the auditorium, where we aren't allowed to bring our backpacks... (why? Do you assume I'm concealing a knife in there?.. Well, maybe. And in that case, shouldn't you just confiscate the thing?) for some opening words.
1: An incredibly underwhelming skit by the sophomores.
2: We can walk on the grass now!
3: Skits by everyone else, blending into a long painful 20 minutes.
4. A story about a concussion, during which I plead with my friend to hand me a concussion.
5. The rest of the assembly and school day passed in a bloody blur. I felt only one emotion: sadness.
As you can see, I'm simply ecstatic to be back. I can't even handle it. My eyeballs might just explode.
I'm gonna go listen to some Paul Simon and have a deep discussion with my inner Moaning Myrtle.
Maybe glue some diamonds on the soles of my shoes.
Oh Snap.

So you are done with high school. Who Knew..? Join the club. All your Aunts on the Memmott side were that way for sure. But that could have been because we were tired of being somewhere all day where we did not understand 95% of the people.
But looking back I say make the most of it. Because I can't tell you to do what I did (sluff/skip majority of my days). Don't do that your parents would kill me. Just enjoy life while it is easy.
